Facebook has finally released the official windows app that is compatible for its desktop and mobile os. The previous version of Facebook which was released for Windows 8 Operating system was developed by Microsoft and had very limited functionalities. The current official app is receiving many appreciations from users as well as developers.
The new features in the official app are:
1) access to your video and picture library
2) access to the webcam
3) access to your current location
4) access your contacts
5) access your calendar
