Amazon has just launched a service most people are waiting for. Now Amazon lets you sell any used product on its website without any documents like the TIN number or VAT number. You can sell it as an individual. This service from Amazon is a great setback for the existing players like OLX and Quickr
Amazon made the process of selling very simple and is offering incentives as the launch offer. For using this service, one has to fill a small form indicating the details of the product and the process is so simple.
- Choose product category
- Upload image
- Product title
- Price
- Description of the product
- Pickup location
- email id and mobile number
Once you have entered the details, Amazon will list the product on its website for the price you have entered. Other customers can shop your product as usual. If anyone orders your product, Amazon will notify you the order details and schedule a pickup.
Amazon will now pick up the product, pack it, dispatch the product to the buyer. Once the sale is completed, Amazon will transfer the money deducting a small service charge from it.
If the product is returned, Amazon will return the package to you and collect the money.

Amazon is also providing incentives as Amazon Pay Balance during the launch. Here are the offers:
- Amazon is offering Rs 1000 as Amazon Pay balance for selling any 5 used books, mobile phone, laptop, tablet, music, video games.
- The offer is valid until January 15, 2017
The service is currently available in Bengaluru only. Amazon is planning to expand the service to other cities based on the response from the users.
Also, you can use this service to sell used products only.
