Best Unlimited Calling Plan From the Best Telecom Operator in India: Analysis

After Reliance Jio rolled out its services in September, all the operators launched unlimited calling plans across India. Telecom operators had to sacrifice the revenue from the calling to retain their subscriber base from loosing to Reliance Jio.

In this article we will detail all the Unlimited calling plans of all the operators and find out the best plan for Unlimited calling.

Best Unlimited Calling Plan From the Best Telecom Operator in India: Analysis

Airtel:

Airtel, India's leading telecom operator was the first to announce unlimited calling after Reliance Jio. Airtel announced two plans which are valid for 28 days.



  • RC 145 offers 300 MB data with free local and national Airtel-to-Airtel calls with a validity of 28 days
  • RC 345 offers 1GB data on 4G-ready devices and free local and national to any network in the country.

Vodafone:

The second largest telecom operator, Vodafone launched plans similar to Airtel. Like Airtel, Vodafone also have two plans to offer unlimited calling

  • RC 295: Offers unlimited calling to any network across India bundled with 2GB of 2G/3G data
  • RC 148: Offers unlimited Vodafone to Vodafone calls across India bundled with 500MB 2G/3G data

Idea Cellular:

Idea Cellular similarly have two plans to offer unlimited calling

  • RC148-  offers free voice calls nationally on own network along with 300 MB 4G data
  • RC348- offers free voice calls nationally to any network along with 1GB 4G data

Tata Docomo

Tata Docomo is the late entrant to launch the unlimited calling plas. It offers plans similar to the other networks
  • RC 148: Unlimited local and STD calling plus 1GB data valid for 14 days
  • RC 246: Unlimited local and STD calling plus 2GB data valid for 28 days

BSNL Mobile:

The State-run telecom operator have unlimited calling plans in a bit cheaper price compared to the operators stated above.

  • RC 99- offers free voice calls nationally on own network along with 300 MB 3G data
  • RC 339- offers free voice calls nationally to any network along with 1GB 3G data

Reliance Communications:



Anil Ambani lead Reliance Communications offers unlimited calling with RC 149

  • RC 149- offers free voice calls to any network bundled with 300MB data valid for 28 days

Telenor:

The Norway telecom operator Telenor offers unlimited calling across India with recharge plans varying from Rs 108 to Rs 298 depending on the telecom circle.

Aircel:

Aircel offers unlimited calling with two plans

  • Rs. 249 pack gives a month (28 days) of unlimited local & STD calls
  • Rs. 14 pack will offer unlimited local & STD calling for a single day

Reliance Jio:


Reliance Jio is the first operator to launch unlimited calling and data to the users which all other operator followed the same.

Jio launched two plans dubbed Jio Welcome Offer which offers Unlimited calling, SMS and upto 4GB 4G data per day till December 31st 2016. Jio Happy New Year Offer which offers Unlimited calling, SMS and upto 1GB of 4G data till March 31st 2017.

Which operator has the best service and cheapest plan?



From the plans described above from all the telecom operators, of course Reliance Jio's plan can be the cheapest plan as it offers free of cost. But, if you see the network quality, it cannot be the top class network due to the inter connectivity issues with other operators, call drop rate being higher relatively.

Reliance Communications RC 149 can be said to be the best plan which is the cheapest among the leading operators. There are no inter connectivity issues, call drop rate relatively low. Although not a top class network, users will not face any issues in calling
