The much anticipated Nokia D1C is going to be showcased at the Mobile World Congress (MWC) in early 2017. Even before the launch, this smartphone is creating a lot of buzz in social media. The reason behind this is that the phone is backed by the once market leader and most trusted and reliable mobile brand, Nokia. The latest buzz now came in the specifications and pricing categories.
Specifications of Nokia D1C:
- Snapdragon 430 processor with Adreno 505 GPU; 1.4GHz octa-core processor
- 2GB/3GB of Ram (2 variants)
- 5-inch/5.5-inch display (2 variants) 1920 x 1080 px full HD display
- Android 7.0 Nougat
- 13MP back camera for smaller sized phone and 16MP camera for the bigger one
- 8MP front camera
- Dual Sim, 4G, 3G, Wi-Fi
- No support of Memory Card
Pricing of Nokia D1C
The 2GB Ram variant will be priced at Rs 10,000 and 3GB variant will be priced at Rs 13,000
Nokia had signed a deal with HMD global for a period of 10 years to license its brand to the company. India is a big market for Nokia since many years and is expecting a big deal from the country. Hence the company is releasing smartphones in the mid-price range segment which are the best selling price range in India.
Foxconn manufactures the mobiles for Nokia which also manufactures for Apple. Foxconn has its manufacturing plant located in Sri city of Andhra Pradesh.
