Apple could be the first trillion dollar tech company zooming past Alphabet and Amazon.The latest information surfaces from the report by Asymco’s Horace Dediu. In the report it predicted Apple will cross the $1 trillion mark this year in terms of revenue generated by iOS, pushing it closer to a $1 trillion market cap.
Deidu said that Apple would Apple will have sold at least 1.2 billion iPhones in the first 10 years which makes it mist successful products all time. Apple also includes iPod touch, the iPad, the Apple Watch and Apple TV total.The combined unit sales of these products apart from iPhone will reach 1.75 billion units over 10 years. According to Deidu, The revenues from iOS product sales will reach $980 billion by the middle of this year. Hardware isn't the only sector Apple earns, Apple has earned more than 100 billion from sales in the service sector that include apps subscriptions and Media. These things make Apple cross $1 Trillion mark this year.
In 2016, Apple crossed the 1 Billion mark in active devices that run iOS, iMac and Apple TV. This is a great accomplishment for Apple to join the notable figures.
Investors predicted that Apple needs one 'home run' product to achieve this milestone. Investors forecasted that Apple's Project Titan car is the product that can act as the catalyst for Apple to reach the milestone.
