What is Golden Globe Award

Golden Globe Award is an American accolade bestowed by the panel of 93 members of Hollywood Foreign Press Association (HFPA). The panel recognizes the excellence in television and films both domestic and foreign. This is the 74th Golden Globe Award Ceremony which will be held every January.

The first Golden Globe Award was started in 1944 by a group of writer who gathered to form the Hollywood Foreign Press Association (HFPA).

The broadcast of the Golden Globe Award will be telecasted in 167 countries around the world and is the third most watched awards show every year behind Oscars and Grammy Awards show.
