Idea in the latest move has announced its partnership with e-commerce platform Flipkart and is offering 15 GB of 4G data at the cost of 1GB for customers who make purchases of 4G handsets on Flipkart. The entry of Reliance Jio into telecom space has created ripples with a bundle of free offers. This forced the rival operators to come up with aggressive plans to not only protect their existing customer base but also to prevent new customers from moving to Reliance Jio.
The users can avail the offer three times until March 2017. According to Sasi Shankar, Chief marketing officer, Idea cellular said that they wanted more customers to join Idea network and have a feel of mobile broadband services across the country.In addition to that Idea, customers will be able to avail 70% discount on the purchase of accessories such as 10000mAh power bank.

Ajay Yadav, Head mobiles at Flipkart said, their new association with Idea cellular enables billion Indians to access the latest technology that comes coupled with great data offers.This move by Idea holds significance at a time Reliance Jio is still looking to extend free offers beyond March by Paying a nominal amount of Rs 100. Hence, all the telecom operators are in a hurry mood to design their own offers to attract the customers.
