After the buzz about the release of Android smartphone has ended, now the hotness about Nokia comes in the form of a voice-activated virtual personal assistant named 'Viki'. The news about 'Viki' has come after Nokia filed a Trademark registration in the EU for the name 'Viki'.
The description about the trademark 'Viki' has been said that the name is registered for the Software for the creation and monitoring of mobile and the web digital assistants working with knowledge and combining all data sources into a single chat and voice-based interface.
Nokia is a very late entry into the voice-activated assistant market. Apple with Siri, Microsoft with Cortana, Amazon with Alexa, Google Assistant, Bixby has already spread the market leaving less space for the new players. Nokia might include the 'Viki' into its Android smartphones to counter Google Assistant. Huawei has already partnered with Amazon Alexa to include in its upcoming flagship phone to be released in the US.
