Today Paytm has today announced its partnership with several brands across the country to expand its offline merchant network. The new move will benefit millions of customers as they can now use Paytm for shopping at their favorite stores.
Post demonetisation we have witnessed a giant surge in the business of wallet providers such as Mobikwik, free charge, and Paytm. Paytm is the major gainer and recently, owing to the huge demand from the customers their servers even went down for some time. Earlier, keeping in view of the consumer's demand for gold it launched the sale of digital gold that would enable allows customers to buy and store it digitally in their online account. Also, it launched 'Each one teach one' Initiative Where in everyone who is knowledgeable in using Paytm can teach merchants to accept digital payments. Paytm, has set its plans big to take advantage of digital India initiative.

The company's new partnership cover a broad range of categories that include consumer durables, mobiles and electronics, apparel and accessories and home furnishings among others.
Many major retail brand outlets like Arvind, Lifestyle, Maxx, Aurelia, Colour Bar, Nike, Lotto, Sports Station, United Colors of Benetton, Body shop, Sunglass Hut, Pure Home, Archies, and Reebok are among the partners and will now accept payments through Paytm.
Senior vice president of Paytm Kiran Vasi Reddy said that they wanted payments to be synonymous with Paytm. Also, they have made partnerships with major brands across various categories to facilitate customers to have great payment experience while shopping at their favorite stores.
