The number two telecom operator, Vodafone launched new Postpaid bundle packs dubbed Vodafone Red for its customers that offer 3G/4G data and unlimited voice calling to all networks. The plans start from Rs 499 and have the range till Rs 1999. The details of the offering against the each plan are as below.
RED 499: 3GB data for 4G users or 1GB of non-4G data plus 100 free text messages plus unlimited local and STD calls along with free incoming on national roaming

RED 699: 5GB data for 4G users or 2.5GB of non-4G data plus 100 free text messages plus unlimited local and STD calls along with free incoming on national roaming
RED 999: 8GB data for 4G users or 5GB of non-4G data plus 100 free text messages plus unlimited local and STD calls along with free incoming on national roaming
RED 1299: 12GB data for 4G users or 8GB of non-4G data plus 100 free text messages plus unlimited local and STD calls along with free incoming on national roaming
RED 1699: 20GB data for 4G users or 16GB of non-4G data plus 100 free text messages plus unlimited local and STD calls along with free incoming on national roaming
RED 1999: 24GB data for 4G users or 20GB of non-4G data plus 100 free text messages plus unlimited local and STD calls along with free incoming on national roaming
Sandeep Kataria, Chief Commercial Officer, Vodafone India, said that the Postpaid customers have relatively higher usage of data and roaming. With the introduction of these new Vodafone RED plans, the postpaid customers can enjoy an all-in-one plan that addresses their data, roaming and calling needs comprehensively.
These Vodafone RED plans are currently not applicable in MP/CG, AP/TS, Bihar & Jharkhand, Jammu & Kashmir, and Himachal Pradesh circles.
After the completion of the allotted data, Vodafone will charge 50 paisa/MB usage.
The move to offer unlimited calling and extra data is expected from Vodafone to retain customers from migrating to Reliance Jio or Bharti Airtel.
