State run telecom operator BSNL has today launched DSPT (Digital satellite phone terminals) unlimited internet access facility to various MHA(Ministry of Home Affairs) security agencies.The plan dubbed ‘DSPT UL 7099’ offers unlimited Internet access at speeds of 64kbps.
DSPT services are the only mode of communications for troops residing in border areas, different terrain areas and remote areas. Currently, BSNL is offering unlimited internet access facility at 64 kbps speed through DSPT at the price of Rs 9,999 per month with service tax extra.

BSNL said that it received requests from various security agencies to reduce the current price of unlimited internet access facility. The telco said that it had taken their requests into consideration and reduced the rate from prevaling Rs 9,999/- per month (service tax extra) to Rs 7,099/- per month (service tax extra).
BSNL further added that it is the only telco in the country to offer unlimited internet access facility through DSPT at such cheaper rate to the nation serving security agencies
