While fiasco of Samsung Galaxy Note 7 is still going on, Samsung is now reportedly working on the next version of its Note series - Note 8 under the code name Baikal. Companies while working on a device, assigns a code name to the product just to keep things under the wrap.
Baikal is actually the name of an ancient lake in the mountainous Russian region of Siberia, north of the Mongolian border and considered the deepest lake in the world.
At the moment, we have no any other details about the features and specifications of the Note 8. There is also no rumor about the possible launch of the Note 8.
All we know as of now is that the Note 8 is in development phase with a project code named Baikal
