Reliance Jio customers will now be able to recharge their mobile connections via Mobikwik app and website. This comes after Paytm announced to offer the similar services across the country.
Jio servers crashed owing to the tremendous amount of traffic it incurred on March 1, the first day to enroll for Jio prime. Jio subscribers base has recently crossed 100 million users. This made Reliance Jio look out for alternate payment solutions and has now tied with wallet providers Paytm and Mobikwik.
Daman Soni, Vice President of Growth at MobiKwik said, “We are happy to extend our digital payment services to Reliance Jio users. The association will allow Reliance Jio users across India to have access to all plans and deals for recharges and pay for their mobile recharges via MobiKwik within seconds.”
Reliance Jio is currently offering free services under Happy New Year offer which will be valid till March 31 2017. Reliance jio has recently launched Jio prime subscription plan for users who join the jio network before March 31. All the existing customers can enroll Jio prime membership with a 1-time fee of Rs 99 for complete 1-year
