It's official now. Xaiomi Mi 6 will be launched on April 19. Earlier rumors that indicated the launch of Xiaomi Mi 6 today proved to be wrong. Now Xaiomi has released a teaser poster via its Weibo account with a message inside it. The message on the poster read" “You waited 203 days, we waited 7 years. This refers to the official launch of Mi 5S that happen to be 203 days back.
Xaiomi has also announced the venue for the launch event which will take place at Beijing University of Technology Gymnasium. Mi 6 will be the Chinese first domestic smartphone to sport snapdragon 835 SoC. Along with Mi 6, Xaiomi will unveil the larger variant Mi 6 plus.
Apart from the snapdragon 835 SoC Mi 6 is said to come with special features like the Iris scanner, waterproof and ceramic body. So only 8 days are left for the official launch of the much-awaited flagship phone. Almost all the specifications and features have been revealed via various rumors. Mi 6 is said to sport 5.17-inch display whereas Mi 6 plus will sport a 5.7-inch display.
One interesting feature to note here is that Mi 6 Plus is said to come with dual rear camera setup. As per the earlier rumors, Mi 6 will be priced at 2,199 Yuan that translates to Rs 20,000 and Mi 6 plus is said to come with a price tag of 2,699 Yuan that comes approximately to Rs 25,000.
