Reliance Jio announces new Prepaid packs starting at Rs 19 and Postpaid plans starting at Rs 309; Big setback for Airtel and Vodafone

Reliance Jio in the latest move announced a bunch of new plans for its prepaid and postpaid customers on its website. The plans included for both Jio prime and non-jio prime members.The move comes in the wake of new plans announced by BSNL. The new plans include "Triple Ace "STV 333, STV 395 "Nehle per dehla", STV 349 "Dil Khol Ke Bhol " and also revised the existing STV 339 with increased data benefits.

Prepaid Plans

There are multiple prepaid plans for Jio prime and non-Jio prime members ranging across various denominations starting from Rs 19 to Rs 9,999. 

Rs 19: Offers 200 Mb of 4G data for Jio prime members and 100 Mb 4G data for non-jio prime members with a validity of one day. The users can avail unlimited calls and SMS to all operators

Rs 49: Offers 600 Mb of 4G data for Jio prime members and 300 Mb 4G data for non-jio prime members with a validity of one day. The users can avail unlimited calls and SMS to all operators

Rs 96: Under this plan, Jio prime members will get 1GB of 4G data and non-Jio prime members will get 600 Mb of 4G data per day. The plan will be valid for 7 days for both jio prime and non-jio prime members

Rs 149: This plan offers 2GB of 4G data for prime users and 1GB of 4G data for non-Jio prime members and valid for 28 days

Rs 309 & Rs 509: Both these plans are currently under Jio dhanadhan offer. At present Rs 309 and Rs 509 offers 1 GB and 2GB data with a validity of 84 days. The benefits are applicable only for the first-time recharge. Subsequent recharge of Rs 309 gives 1GB data per day valid for 28 days. Similarly,  subsequent recharge of Rs 509 offers 2GB data per day valid for 28 days.

Reliance Jio has also launched additional three more plans of Rs 999, Rs 1,999, Rs 4,999 and Rs 9,999. All the plans come with no data cap limit per day.

Rs 999: This plan offers 120 GBof 4G data valid for 120 days. There is no data cap limit and post FUP the data speed will be reduced to 128 Kbps.

Rs 1,999: Under this plan, users will get 185 GB of 4G data valid for 150 days for the first recharge. Subsequent recharge of Rs 1999 offers 125 GB of data valid for 90 days. Post FUP the data speed will be reduced to 128 Kps

Rs 4,999: As per this plan users can avail 240 Gb data valid for 240 days on the first recharge. Subsequent recharge of this plan offers 350 Gb data valid for 180 days. Post FUP the data speed will be reduced to 128 Kbps

Rs 9,999: The last plan Rs 9,999 offers 810 GB of 4G data valid for 420 days with the first recharge. And from subsequent recharges users will get 750 GB data valid for 360 days. Post FUP the data speed will be reduced to 128 Kbps

Postpaid plans

Along with prepaid plans, Reliance Jio has introduced three postpaid plans priced at Rs 309, Rs 509 and Rs 999

Rs 309: Under this plan, users will get 90Gb of 4g data with a daily FUP of 1GB 4G data per day valid for 3 months. Subsequent recharge of this plan offers 30GB of data with FUP of 1GB per day valid for one month. Post FUP the data speed will be reduced to 128 Kbps

Rs 509:  This plan offers 90Gb of 4g data with a daily FUP of 2GB 4G data per day valid for 3 months. Subsequent recharge of this plan offers 60GB of data with FUP of 2GB per day valid for one month. Post FUP the data speed will be reduced to 128 Kbps


Rs 999:  As per this plan users will get 180Gb of 4g data valid for 3 months. Subsequent recharge of this plan offers 60GB of data valid for one month. There is no daily cap limit for this offer. Post FUP the data speed will be reduced to 128 Kbps
