NASA video that conferred the global temperature trends of nearly 140 years raises concerns over global warming

You are just one person among the 7.6 billion people living on this one planet in just one solar system, which is one of the billions of galaxies of the universe. It may be difficult to understand at this point in time about the rapid climate change we are undergoing during the past 100 - 150 years. It is irrefutable fact that the earth is experiencing a severe global warming effect since 5 years in a range that the earth has not undergone during the past.

As seen in the time-lapse video released by NASA (The National Aeronautics and Space Administration), the five year period - 2013 to 2017 - is officially the warmest five-year period on record. This 36-second video released by NASA clearly embraces the history of Earth's global surface temperature since 1880 - all the way to 2017.

NASA’s temperature studies include surface temperature measurements from the network of 6,300 weather stations, ships, and buoys and research stations located at Antarctica. These raw measurements are then analyzed using an algorithm that estimates the discrete spacing of temperature stations around the globe and urban heating effects that could skew the conclusions. These calculations produce the global average temperature deviations from the baseline period of 1951 to 1980.

The video shows the global temperature trends in a colour coding theme where blue implies cold and red implies hotter climate. Nasa says that 2017 was the third consecutive year in which temperatures were more than 1.8 degrees Fahrenheit (1 degree Celsius) above late nineteenth-century levels.
