Vodafone today launched a new prepaid plan that could directly compete with Bharti Airtel and Idea's Rs 249 plans. With a price difference of only Rs 6, Vodafone's Rs 255 recharge offers talk time and data benefits similar to the other operators.
On the downside, there is a capping of 250 minutes per day and 300 unique numbers during the validity period. But, of course, these limitations do not hinder the customers who use the plan for personal purposes.
There is Reliance Jio in the telecom space that offers the extra benefits at the lowest price. Jio's Rs 198 plan offers 2GB of 4G data and unlimited calling benefits for 28 days. On top, there are no limitations in the offerings.
