It costs Rs 3.09 for Rs 500 and Rs 3.54 for Rs 2000 notes printing for RBI

Bhartiya Reserve Bank Note Mudran Private Limited (BRBNMPL) is incurring Rs 3.09 for printing new Rs 500 note and Rs 3.54 for printing Rs 2000 notes. This information is shared by RBI against the RTI filed by Neemuch-based Chandrashekhar Gaud. 

BRBNMPL said that it charges RBI Rs 3090 to print 1000 notes of Rs 500 and Rs 3540 to print 1000 notes of Rs 2000 notes.
