BHIM App launched by prime minister Narendra Modi on December 30 to make digital payments and transactions easier for citizens. It is an Instant hit among the people and now reaches the top of Google charts in Play store. Named after Baba Saheb Bhim Rao Ambedkar BHIM APP is currently available for download from play store.
The iOS version will be released later. Bhim app is a modified version of UPI(Utility Payments Interface )and USSD(Unstructured Supplementary Service Data). According to Modi, the BHIM app allows users to make cashless payments in a reliable fast and secure way.

The App even works without a running internet connection. He further added that more work will be done in coming weeks to ensure an increment in the power of BHIM App to be able to withdraw money with fingerprints.

Former Aadhaar chairman Nandan Nilekani, in a tweet, told that Bhim app raced to the top of Google charts and termed it as a dream debut.
