LG Electronics said today that its ultra-light laptop sets new Guinness World Record. LG Electronics recently launched the 14 inch (35.6cm) Ultra light Gram which weighs 860 gms.
Guinness World Record confirmed that the LG Ultralight Gram 14-inch is the lightest of all laptops in the world after measuring around 70 models of 14-inch laptops from 25 nations.
This is the second title in Guinness World Record for LG Gram series laptop. The first one being 15.6-inch Gram series laptop which set the record last year.
LG introduced the Gram series Ultralight laptops last year which includes a 13.3-inch (33.8 centimeters) model weighing 830 grams, a 14-inch model that weighs 860 grams and a 15.6-inch model weighing 980 grams.
LG Electronics said that the demand for Ultralight laptops is increasing in the world and the company is focusing on releasing more products like this soon.
LG Electronics also released All-Day Gram which comes in 13.3 inches, 14 inches, and 15.6 inches and offers battery life of 24 hours, 23 hours and 22 hours, respectively.
The 13.3-inch All-Day Gram Laptop weighs 940 grams. The 14-inch model Laptop weighs 970 grams and the 15.6-inch model Laptop weighs 1,090 grams. Users can still keep it lightweight as they don’t have to bring adapters, which can add another 200 to 300 grams, the company said.
