HMD Global has recently launched its first Android Phone Nokia 6 however it did not meet the expectation of consumers due to processor Snapdragon 430 SoC being the old one and price being on the higher side relative to its specifications. However, HMD global has hinted to launch a new smartphone on February 26 at Mobile world congress (MWC ) 2017. Not much is known about the new phone but now it was revealed that, it is known with the codename Nokia Supreme and may likely enter the market as Nokia Supreme/Nokia 8.It has also been said that the purported phone was on display at Consumer Electronic Show (CES) 2017 but only a few noticed.
Purported Features of the Nokia 8
- Leak reveals Nokia 8 will be powered by Qualcomm’s latest Snapdragon 835 chip with 6GB RAM.
- Nokia 8 is also expected to sport large 5.7-inch Super AMOLED display with QHD resolution (2560 x 1440 pixels) resolution. The display will be flat-screen and not curved display
- On the camera front, Nokia 8 comes with powerful 24MP rear camera with Optical image stabilization (OIS), and super EIS. It will also feature 12 MP front camera.
- On the storage front, Nokia 8 is expected to come in two versions 64 GB and 128 GB nad both versions can be extended to 126 GB via micro SD card.
- It is further expected Nokia 8 to come pre-installed with Android 7.0 Nougat
- Dual front facing speakers
- LED notification light
