Android App "Screens" lets you launch two apps instantly in split-screen mode

A new Android app has been launched that facilitates automatic launching of two apps in split-screen mode. The App dubbed "screens" allows to pick two apps, creates a shortcut and by a simple tap opens both the Apps simultaneously in split-screen. Android has recently rolled out support for split screen apps in Android Nougat 7.0.

It does not require root, but you have to enable it as accessibility service. This feature comes in handy especially in smartphones with larger screens. Also, you must see that the apps which you ought to include in shortcut should support split-screen. Some apps do not support split-screen and eventually crashes if you try to open them via shortcut.

The developer keep away from fire has even released the source code of the App on Git hub to allow access for other developers to develop it further. Screens App is free and available for download from play store (Google play). However, the App works with Android Nougat 7.0 or higher.
