Top 10 Ultimate Tricks to Increase Reliance Jio 4G Data Speed By 100% (Verified Tricks)

Use these tricks only if you are getting low speed. There is no risk involved in using these tricks, so you can try them to check if speed increases.  At any time, you can revert back to original settings. The procedure might differ from mobile to mobile. But, here I have simplified many things that any mobile user can follow the tricks easily.

Reliance jio

Trick 1: By Changing the APN

  1. Go to settings
  2. Then tap Mobile networks
  3. Set the Preferred network type to LTE
  4. go back
  5. Tap Access Point Names (APN)
  6. Scroll down to see ‘APN protocol’ option > make it IPv4/IPv6
  7. Scroll again and select ‘Bearer’ option & choose ‘LTE’.
  8. Now save all the settings
  9. Turn on your data connection and check the speed if increased or not.

Trick 2: Trick For Rooted Phones



  1. Download 3G/4G Speed Optimizer apk on your phone from Play store; if you can't find in Play store, google it and find.
  2. Tap Select network speed to choose 12/28/7 – Max Speed (Low battery efficiency) option.
  3. Tap ‘Apply Tweak’.
  4. Restart the phone. most probably you will see an increase in speed.

Trick 3: Using VPN (Rooting not required)

  1. Download ‘Snap VPN‘ from play store.
  2. Open the app,
  3. You will find the list of countries.
  4. In front of each country, you will find signal strength indicated.
  5. Now, select the country which has good signal strength & tap on to connect
  6. It might not get connected on the first attempt but keep trying.
  7. Once the connected, try downloading some files to check the downloading speed.

Trick 4: Using Speedify app to increase Jio data speed

  1. Speedify have both Android and Desktop versions
  2. If you are using Wifi, then use desktop version; If you are using on your phone,  download the Speedify Android App from Play store. 
  3. Then connect to nearest server & enjoy high-speed data on your Reliance Jio sim.

Trick 5: Changing LTE Band

Note : Try this trick on your own risk! 
  1. Download MTK Engineering Mod from play store. 
  2. Change band to 40 (2300 MHz)
  3. Set FDD-LTE to 1800/850 MHz
  4. Save everything & get ready to fly with amazing 4G speed!

Trick 6: Increase Jio Data Speed by using different server name

  1. On your phone, go to your apn setting & scroll down to see the server.
  2. In server section, type www.google.com and save settings.
  3. Connect your internet & check speed

Trick 7: Increase the data speed by Modifying Bearer Setting

  1. This trick will work on Motorola & few other phones running on stock android (means Android installed originally).
  2. go to settings > More > Cellular networks.
  3. You can see Jionet as existing apn
  4. Click on it.
  5. You can see an option like ‘bearer unspecified’.
  6. Just modify it to LTE.
  7. Save & turn on 4G data to check the speed.

Trick 8: Increase Jio Download Speed with ADM

Did you ever use IDM (Internet download manager) on PC to download files? It very well improves download speed by splitting large files into smaller pieces. But, this software is not available for Android. Need not worry. Here is the new trick which can do this task for you easily.


  1. Install ADM App in your device from Play store. It doesn’t require root.
  2. The App have an inbuilt browser which is not so fair, you can avoid it.
  3. Now, select the file URL you wish to download.
  4. Copy the URL and open ADM.
  5. In ADM, at top right corner, you will find the + sign. Click it & past the URL.
  6. Tap start button & say wow!
  7. By using this trick  I am getting the speed of 1~2 MBps even when there is a poor signal in my area. Speed fluctuates a bit but never goes below 800 Kbps.

Trick 9: New Trick for Mediatek Processor Phones



  1. Open the dialer on your phone
  2. Dial *#*#3646633#*#* 
  3. You will see a menu
  4. Then search for ‘mobile data service preferred’ & tap on OK.
  5. Download some files to check speed if increased or not

Trick 10: Try Changing Browser

Lastly, try shifting to UC Browser or Opera Browser from Chrome or any inbuilt browser
