Reliance Jio is reportedly working on a hybrid Android TV decoder. This hybrid Set-top box (STB) combine Digital Video Broadcasting – Second Generation Terrestrial(DVB-T2) reception with access to online services.
The Jio digital decoder can be connected to Jio Fiber through WIFI and access all the digital content and IP TV on your television.
In addition to running Android TV, the decoder has all the Chrome cast features and supports 4K content. It also has the complete access to the Google Play store.
The digital decoder works on any television. The set-top box allows users access a wide range of online video and audio content and the huge number of apps available in Google Play store.
