State-owned telecom operator BSNL has announced a new broadband plan dubbed "BB Unlimited 249" that offers up to 300 GB data per month according to report by Gadgets 360. The plan also offers partial free calls during night time. However, only the new customers can avail the offer. If the existing customers wanted to avail the offer they have to opt for the new connection.
According to the BSNL executive, the plan will be valid for the next six months after which it will be converted to Rs. 499 plan. As per the plan, the users can avail daily data of 10 GB with speeds up to 2Mbps. After the usage of 10 GB, the data speed will be reduced to 1Mbps.
As part of the plan, BSNL is offering unlimited night calls to users on Sunday between 9 pm to 7 am.The Plan will be valid across all telecom circles except Andaman and Nicobar islands. If the users consume less than 10GB cap the unused data will be carried forward to the next day.
There will be no additional charges levied for the 249 plan. However, users have to pay a security deposit of Rs 249 and the minimum hire period is one month.
