Bring an end to all the speculations, Xiaomi has announced that the much-awaited flagship phone Mi 6 would be unveiled tomorrow i.e April 11 at 12.00 AM. Xiaomi has made the announcement via its official Weibo page. The rumors about Mi 6 has piled up in recent days that offered a sneak peak into the design as well as specifications of the device.
Along with Mi 6, Xiaomi is said to launch larger variant Mi 6 Plus. If you look back, initially it was said Xaiomi Mi6 will be launched in March. But owing to the demand of Snapdragon 835 SoC the launch date has been pushed further to April. Earlier rumors revealed the design of Mi 6 in the form of sketches. Later a leaked image surfaced wherein the specifications of Mi 6 and its larger variant Mi 6 plus unfolded.
There were also rumors that hinted Mi 6 to come with new fea tures like waterproof, Iris scanner and ceramic body. Mi 6 has also been leaked in black and white boxes wherein the specifications are clearly visible on the backside of the boxes. Recently the front panels of alleged Mi 6 surfaced in black and white colors. In the images, there was Iris scanner located above the display as well as fingerprint sensor seem to be embedded in the home button.

Also from the images, it is clear that phone will not sport a borderless display. Coming to the price, there are various rumors but the pre- advertising claims Mi 6 standard version will cost 3199 Yuan($ 463) and the larger variant Mi 6 plus will be available for 3,999 yuan ($ 579)
