Xiaomi Mi 6 has been tipped to be launched this month and was confirmed by Xiaomi CEO, but he did not specify the exact date of release. Today a new Weibo post surfaced that indicated the likely price of Mi 6 and the launch date for the event. Earlier there has been leaks with regard to the design in the form of sketches.
The specifications, on the other hand, has been revealed in the form of various leaks. MI 6 is said to sport new features like Waterproof, iris scanner, ceramic body. Not long ago leakster, Phoenix digital revealed the variants of Xiaomi in black and white boxes and the specifications of the variants are clearly visible on the boxes.
In the latest Weibo post, the likely launch date for Mi 6 has been revealed. Although there is no information on the exact date of release, the post clearly mentioned that Mi 6 will be released in the later part of the month. The leakster also hinted that there would 50,000 units of Mi 6 would be initially available in the first week and the production would be raised in the subsequent weeks.

Coming to the price, Weibo user revealed that the cost of Mi 6 will be on the higher side. The price of Mi 6 was expected to be starting at 1999 Yuan(~$290). However, he further mentioned that cost price for Mi 6 is around $ 300 that includes the production cost and the cost of the chipset. So, it is likely that the cost of Mi 6 may be higher than the speculated price of $ 300.
