The Mumbai based LED television brand, Vu technologies is all set to take on Xiaomi with the launch of Android-based LED television on March 13, 2018. With this launch, Vu technologies will directly compete with Mi TV 4 and Mi TV 4A LED series launched by Xiaomi earlier. Vu technologies have already sent a media invite in this regard that contained an image that is shown above.
The image had a tagline ‘Okay Google, Let’s Vu’, which hints the presence of voice recognition feature assisted by Google Assistant. Vu technologies enjoy a huge lineup of LED TVs in various sizes that also include smart TVs, however, this TV would be the company's first Android-based LEF TV. However, at the time of writing this article, we are unaware of the price and display size of the Vu TV.
Xiaomi has already set the price of the LED TVs very competitively that has formed a great setback in the Indian market for other brands in terms of pricing and specifications. So, it would be a tough time for Vu technology to set the price and push into the market successfully.
Xaiomi Mi TV 4 55-inch 4K is priced at Rs 39,000 and Mi TV 4A 42-inch is priced at Rs 22,999, whereas Mi TV 4A 32-inch has a price tag of Rs 13,999. All these Mi TVs will go on sale on March 13 at 12 PM and every Friday and Tuesday thereafter.
