Xiaomi today launched a new 55-inch 4K TV in China dubbed Mi TV 4S. This is an improved version of the 40-inch Mi TV 4A launched a couple of days back in China. The Mi TV 4S is a new generation TV that comes with a new artificial intelligence enabled voice remote, true 4K HDR screen and PatchWall interface.
On the board, the Mi TV 4S comes with an Amlogic 64-bit quad core processor, which runs at 1.5GHz, 2GB of RAM and 8GB of internal memory. For graphics processing, you get Mali-450 GPU. The TV is built on a metallic frame, and the 3840 x 2160 resolution, 2 x 8W high-power stereo speakers plus Dolby sound will mesmerise the TV viewing experience. With a 3840 x 2160 resolution.
Unfortunately, the Mi TV 4S uses IPS LCD panel instead of the OLED screen. In addition, you also get 3 HDMI ports, support for Bluetooth and WiF, one each ethernet port, S-PDIF port, and RF Cable port, and two USB ports.
The Mi TV 4S is priced at 2,999 Yuan ($477). In the near future, the TV might get launched in India as well.
